My name is Cynthia Green. My inspiration as the inventor of the Urine Collection Cup Apparatus came about in 1992 when my very young daughter had to give a urine sample to the doctor. I had to hold the cup for her. It was not only uncomfortable for me, but it was uncomfortable for her, resulting in me getting urine all over my hand that is when the need for such a product was visualized. I began the process of getting a patent in 1998.
